Dubai, United Arab Emirates, July XX, 2024 – Rental Disputes Center has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Erada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai to strengthen community cooperation and provide mutual support for individuals recovering from addiction.
The memorandum was signed by H.E. Judge Abdulqader Mousa Mohammed, Chairman of the Rental Disputes Center in Dubai, and H.E. Abdulrazak Amiri, CEO of Erada Center for Treatment and Rehabilitation in Dubai.
The memorandum aims to enhance cooperation and partnership between the two entities, each in their respective fields, in accordance with the regulations, procedures, and systems in place for each party. It aims to implement charitable initiatives and define the nature of joint activities between the parties in supporting people of determination and their families concerning rental disputes. Additionally, the memorandum seeks to provide legal and social support to individuals and families affected by rental-related legal issues, thereby reducing their financial and psychological burden and facilitating the treatment and recovery process.
In this regard, H.E. Judge Abdulqader Mousa Mohammed, Chairman of Rental Disputes Center, highlighted the significance of this partnership and effective collaboration between the two parties in fostering justice and tolerance in the community. He noted that the RDC, in line with its noble objectives of providing all forms of humanitarian assistance to those who have been issued rental-related court judgments, is committed to supporting these groups and extending a helping hand. This initiative reflects the humanitarian spirit embraced by the UAE in general and the Emirate of Dubai in particular, by supporting and caring for various segments of society. It also enhances Dubai's status as a global center for recovery, and promoting social solidarity and cooperation among community members.
H.E. Abdul Razzaq Amiri, CEO of Erada Center, expressed his happiness with the cooperation with Rental Disputes Center, noting that this memorandum underscores a collective commitment to supporting community members during a sensitive phase of their lives. He emphasized that social support is essential for the continuation of recovery, as patients face various legal and financial challenges that significantly affect their psychological well-being, particularly during the early stages of recovery.
The primary areas of cooperation encompass sharing pertinent information on humanitarian cases involving rentals and needing legal resolution between the parties, offering legal assistance and guidance to individuals determined to recover and their families to ease the legal complexities of rental disputes, and facilitating financial relief by mediating disputes to reduce outstanding debts. Moreover, they will collaborate on joint charitable endeavors aimed at supporting individuals battling addiction and their families, thereby enhancing their quality of life.
About the Rental Disputes Center:
The Rental Disputes Center (RDC) came into inception by the virtue of Decree No. (26) of 2013 issued by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai with the aim of providing a specialized judicial system to handle rental disputes in the Emirate of Dubai and to develop procedures for resolving such disputes through a quick and simplified mechanism.
